Halloween Mantle

Here's how I did my mantle this year for Halloween.  The HAUNTED banner was made out of card stock with my Silhouette Portrait.  I love how it adds color!  The haunted house made with glitter card stock in the black frame, also made with my Silhouette.  I always add seasonal items to my black bowl in the center.  The black BOO is made out of wood... And of course, a skull should always be added!  To finish it off, bats made out if card stock on the wall.  Those are all over the house... Guess you can say were a batty house!

Bizzie on Fox10's morning show Studio 10!

Candace Murphy with Fox 10's morning show, Studio 10, was at my house yesterday to film a segment on a Halloween Party for Kids.  It was so much fun... we went over decorations, food and games, including DIY ideas and ways to keep the cost down.  My son, Braden and his friend, Farley, were there to help with the games.  Of course, they were dressed in their Halloween costumes!

The show is on from eight to nine, Monday - Friday, and the Kids Halloween Party segment will be aired on Tuesday, October 15th.

So I thought this would be a great time to get my blog started!

Tinkering with Life is a phrase I came up with to describe this blog... because, there isn't just one main subject.   Great ideas and information for everyday living, celebrations and holidays to make things easier and more fun. Crafts, DIY projects, party planning and decorating, just to name a few.

Keep in mind, that I love to do research, and not all ideas and projects will be mine.  Of course, I will give credit when available.

So, I have finished my son's Halloween costume party prep, thanks to Candace Murphy and Fox 10!  My next party project is my oldest son's birthday party:  Minecraft.  Please send any ideas!
